Flower Show and Pet Day

What a fabulous day we had. The students had to create a sand saucer and they had the choice out of two other creations, including a miniature garden, a flower arrangement in an unusual container, a construction, or a vegetable creature.

You should have seen some of the tremendous work these students produced.

Then we had the pet show, we had dogs, lambs, horses, cats, birds, rabbits, chickens and even some odd animals like a wasp!!

We had a dog race, then a grand parade.

We really enjoyed our day and hope the parents and animals did also!! J

The Milk Tanker Visits St. Joseph's

Fonterra came to our school to give the bus students bright coloured vests. Theses are so when the students are waiting for the bus cars that drive by can see them easily.

We had a big milk tanker come into our school grounds. These are some pictures Sam took.
